I totally know where the F-Mart is! (I love how innocently profane that name sounds...) That was our landmark for finding the contra-dance place. It was a little scary in the middle of the night. Seriously.
I could take you to Bishopville and you would have shady small town pictures to blog about for the rest of your life maybe...it is about as typical (or in your words "backwoods" :) as it gets! There is actually a Lee County cotton "museum"...and it looks about how you would imagine a museum in s small town would look!
I am a little intrigued to know what exactly there is to see in a cotton museum... besides cotton??
And, I definitely think it would be cool to go see ya'lls cotton farm. I love the pictures in Lauren's house and the cotton in the bathroom.
