Tonight, I am thankful for:
*the beauty of today. (Even though I slept through most of it, I still loved falling asleep to the sight of blue skies and the sun shining in through the windows.)
*a chance to catch up with M'Lyn after church tonight - an unexpected blessing!
*the quiet and stillness of tonight. Lord, help me to listen for your voice in the silence.
*my favorite soft, fuzzy, and very warm blanket! I've missed it!

I am a single Southern girl who loves Jesus. I am a nurse to kids with cancer, and I love my job. I consider flip-flops appropriate for nearly every day of the year. I love my family. I love to laugh, and I cry nearly every time that I do. I love to discover the beauty of God's Creation, and I hope to be able to see much more of it in my lifetime. I often speak Spanish in everyday conversation, even if the other person doesn't. I love a good cup of coffee and a good conversation with a friend. I make really good chocolate chip cookies. I love holding babies, and I hope that God blesses me with some of my own one day. I think that mint chocolate chip ice cream (the white kind) is one of God's gifts to me.
